But not all of us have perfect credit, in fact, over 40 million Americans have what credit bureaus describe as “very low credit scores” and 50 Million Americans have no credit at all! If you’re in either one of these categories, you’re not alone and we can help.

Since we’re the bank, our interest rates and payments are affordable and we offer terms between 21 and 48 months to allow you a quickly payoff of your car. Our finance company does charge a slightly higher interest rate, but the term and length of time you’re paying interest, and the price of the car will keep your interest expense as low as possible.

Our locations start at a low down payment of 77¢ with convenient payments that fit within your budget. The down payment can fluctuate depending upon the vehicle you pick as well as a few other factors. For example, we want to make sure you can afford the car and the payments. The lower the down payment, the higher the monthly payment, so we help you by showing you if you make enough money to afford your payments. Our goal is to see our customers succeed!

Common questions we get when people come in with 77¢ down is that they expect to qualify for every car on the lot with that down payment. While we frequently do down payments on expensive cars for 77¢ down, it’s not always the case and it really depends on your stability and job history.

To know for sure, you just need to come in to the dealership and do a 15 minute application. We’ll have you approved and let you know which cars you qualify for.

How do the payments work?

Simply put, we arrange payment around your payday to help with your budget. We are able to provide more flexible financing options than new car and ordinary used car dealerships, because we are the lender. The decisions are ours to make. This gives us an advantage the other guys just don’t have. Payments can be made in-house, online, mail, drop-box, or through automatic payments. We will custom design a financing program based on what works best for your individual situation.

How long does it take to buy a used car?

A quick and painless process to buying a used car or truck at Lucky's Auto Credit!

Chances are, we probably have the vehicle you want at one of our 2 locations right now. About half of our customers can drive home in a Lucky’s vehicle the same day they visit us. Others may need to go home and bring us pay stubs to be able to take the car home. If you bring in all the information we need, it can take as little as 20 minutes! With 2 offices to choose from, our inventory selection is always good. You can even apply online 24/7 and be pre-approved before you arrive at our office. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

Do you take trade-ins?

Used car and truck trade-ins at any of our Utah locations

Yes, we take trade-ins of any make, model and year. If you owe money on your trade, please be sure to bring your finance information with you including account number, phone number, and name of bank or finance company.

I have a bankruptcy, can you arrange financing for me?

Easy financing for ANY credit problem including bankruptcies!

Yes! If you have filed a Chapter 7, we may ask you to bring some paperwork with you confirming this is discharged. If you have filed a Chapter 13 we may ask for additional documentation.

Can I take my vehicle to my own mechanic for him to inspect it before I purchase?

Yes, in fact we recommend it, as long as you are approved beforehand for that vehicle. We have confidence in our vehicles and stand behind them with our 12 month/12,000 mile warranty.

If I want to be approved for a loan and vehicle, what do I have to do?

It’s easy! Stop by one of our offices and talk to one of our sales professionals in person. They will speak to you about your credit situation in a relaxed, no-pressure manner. Once your budget and needs are established, you can select a vehicle.

You can apply for pre-approval online at this site. Just go to Apply Online, fill out the information, and one of our credit specialists will personally review it. Then we contact you by phone or email within a few hours!

What if I can’t pay my car loan?

The most important thing you can do for yourself is to make your payment on time and in full. In the unlikely event you will be late for a scheduled payment; it is extremely important that YOU contact your Lucky’s Auto Credit office and let us know BEFORE the payment is due. You can call, email or stop in. We do understand that people sometimes experience financial setbacks. It is your loan. It is up to you to keep the lines of communication open so we can help you succeed!
